Amputees4Amputees

“Rehabilitation must be a priority… our voices are not being heard.”

Times of Malta

Amputees4Amputees provides support for people that have either undergone or are waiting to undergo an amputation.

Over the years, the A4A committee has learned the importance of psychological and counseling services for its members. These services are crucial for people who have gone through or are going through the experience of losing a limb.

There are between 6,000 and 7,000 amputees in Malta. After their life-altering operations they have to attend the prosthetics unit for the rest of their lives.

The Charity is working to educate the public and spread awareness of the crucial work they do.
